  1. SYRIA - Passport and visa required.  Obtain visa in advance. 
  2. Single-entry visa valid 6 months or double-entry for 3 months, $15; multiple-entry
  3. visa valid 6 months, $30.  Submit 2 application forms, 2 photos (signed) and
  4. fee (payment must be money order only).  Enclose prepaid envelope (with
  5. correct postage) for return of passport by mail.  AIDS test required for
  6. students and others staying over 1 year; U.S. test sometimes accepted.  For
